Graduation Requirements
To earn a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, students must complete 132 credit hours through a structured four-year study pathway that combines computing foundations, advanced AI specialization, and hands-on experience.
Degree Structure
University Requirements (16 Cr):
General education courses that strengthen communication skills, ethical awareness, sustainability understanding, and entrepreneurial thinking.
School Requirements (53 Cr):
Core mathematics and computing foundations, including programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, machine learning, artificial intelligence, networking, cybersecurity, internship training, and a two-semester Senior Project.
Program / Major Requirements (63 Cr):
Advanced coursework in data science and AI, including data acquisition (ETL), data mining, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, big data analytics, statistical inference, AI explainability, MLOps, and production-ready AI systems.
Students must submit a Program Declaration Form by the end of the first semester and are advised to work closely with academic advisors to ensure timely progression and graduation.
