Graduation Requirements
To earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering, students must complete 144 credit hours through a structured four-year study pathway that integrates engineering fundamentals, renewable energy specialization, and hands-on experience.
Degree Structure
University Requirements (18 Cr): General education courses that develop communication skills, ethical awareness, and professional readiness.
School of Engineering Requirements (33 Cr): Core mathematics, sciences, and engineering fundamentals, including industrial training and a two-semester Senior Design Project.
Program Requirements (93 Cr): Specialized coursework in renewable and sustainable energy systems, including solar and wind energy, energy storage, power systems, grid integration, thermal systems, control, and energy management technologies.
Students declare their major after completing the Foundation Semester and are advised to work closely with academic advisors to ensure timely progression and graduation.
