Advanced Campus & Facilities

An Overview

In April 2014, a Presidential Decree granted Zewail City a 200-acre campus in October Gardens, 6th of October City. In September 2014, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces began managing the construction of Zewail City’s permanent premises. On 17 September 2017, Zewail City successfully moved to its new campus on Ahmed Zewail Road.

Designed by a team of prominent architects, the campus was created to support the City’s vision and mission through a unified environment that brings together its three essential components. Spacious, technologically advanced, and environmentally sensitive, the campus offers state-of-the-art facilities that support learning, research, and community engagement. Its design blends Egyptian and architectural traditions while providing modern infrastructure, including smart classrooms, strong IT connectivity, residential areas, and spaces for exhibitions, events, and outdoor functions.
