Program Overview

Students begin with a shared foundation semester to build strong knowledge in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles. In the early years, students study materials science, semiconductor physics, and device characterization. As they progress, they explore key areas such as microelectronics and integrated circuit design (VLSI), embedded systems, microfabrication technologies, and photonics. 

Through hands-on learning in state-of-the-art laboratories and practical training opportunities, students develop the skills needed to design and build advanced electronic and photonic systems for emerging technologies.

To earn a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, students must complete 144 credit hours over a structured four-year study pathway that combines academic foundations, specialization, and practical experience.

Degree Structure
  • University Requirements (18 Cr): General education courses that develop communication skills, ethical awareness, and professional readiness.
  • School of Engineering Requirements (33 Cr): Core mathematics, sciences, and engineering fundamentals, including industrial training and a two-semester Senior Design Project
  • Program Requirements (93 Cr): Specialized coursework in nanotechnology, nanoelectronics, nanofabrication, photonics, MEMS, embedded systems, and advanced device design.

Students declare their major after completing the Foundation Semester and work closely with academic advisors to ensure timely graduation.
