Biography
Dr. Yousry AbdulAzeem is an Associate Professor at the Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence School at Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation. He earned his Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from Mansoura University. His academic expertise spans Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and he has supervised numerous graduation projects addressing practical, real-world challenges.
His research interests include machine and deep learning, optimization, distributed and probabilistic databases, big data, blockchain, and IoT. He has published widely in reputable international venues and serves as a reviewer for leading journals.
In addition to his academic work, he has held administrative roles at Taibah University and has industry experience as a Technical Director and Senior Programmer, bridging research with practical applications.

Education
Dr. AbdulAzeem earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2014. His doctoral thesis focused on Ranking Distributed Uncertain Databases. He also holds an M.Sc. (2009) and B.Sc. (2004) in Computer Engineering from the same institution. His master’s research centered on Software Performance Engineering.

In addition to his primary position at Zewail City, Dr. AbdulAzeem has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at several prestigious universities in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He previously held administrative roles at Taibah University, Saudi Arabia, where he managed the Academic Advising Unit and coordinated course scheduling, contributing to curriculum planning and academic operations.
